Orientation/Identity Bible Study led by Rev. Mark Pitton from the VT Conference at 6:30pm - Preceded by a Potluck Supper at 5:30pm
The Diaconate invites you to come to a potluck supper at 5:30 PM in the Vestry prior to the bible study. This will be an opportunity to get to know a leading, inspiring and delightful pastor of the Vermont Conference of the United Church of Christ, the Rev. Mark Pitton.
The Rev. Pitton will be guiding our Bible Study from 6:30-8:30 PM, focusing on passages that can inform our response to issues of sexual orientation and gender identity. This Bible Study is a foundational event for the discussion and discernment that our Pastoral Search Committee and Diaconate are asking us to undertake.
Please feel free to come to the 5:30 PM potluck even if you cannot stay for the entire Bible Study afterward. - 1111.September.Sunday
Sundae Sunday
Please stay after worship for Sundae Sunday, an ice cream feast (with other delicious non-sweet foods as well) to celebrate the start of the fall season, welcoming back the Choir and our new school year Sunday School program and all those who have been away.

Small Group Meeting with Search Committee - 7:00pm
One of three small group meetings with the Search Committee (members may choose one of three to attend-see Sunday, 9/18 at 11:45am with light lunch or Saturday, 9/24 at 2:30pm) at which we will share our wishes, dreams, and aspiratons for the church as well as our next minister.
